Dalgety Bay is a coastal town in Fife, Scotland, on the north shore of the Firth of Forth. According to Fife Council, the town is home to over 10,000 people, making it the eighth-largest place in Fife. The bay was named after the original village of Dalgety. There are two primary schools and it is within the catchment area for Inverkeithing High School. Pupils attending Private Schools from Dalgety Bay travel to either Dollar Academy or to the numerous schools in Edinburgh. Situated on the Fife Coastal Path it provides walking or cycling to Queensferry and Aberdour. The town benefits from its own railway station which gives access to Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy.
